hello again, folks! in my efforts to keep the blog “sticky”, i’m back with another blog post this week! woo hoo! last week, my good buddy, heather and i made the trek out to las vegas for the WPPI convention. it was my first time in vegas and my first time at WPPI! WPPI stands for “wedding and portrait photographers international”. if you’re a photographer and you’re not a member of WPPI, than you definitely should join, as there are a number of benefits and networking opportunities available through the org. anyway… back to the convention! there were over 14,000 photogs in las vegas… at one time! it was incredible and overwhelming all at once. heather and i were like giddy teenage girls most of the week (especially when we got the chance to chat with some of our photography heros). we spent the week attending classes, taking endless notes and making daily stops at starbucks, mmm! i so look forward to making annual trips to vegas aaaand hopefully next time our beaus can come too!
