We originally set out to Colorado for an incredible elopement in the Rockies and thought, hmm, maybe we could shoot some sessions along the way. 😉 We ended up booking quite a few of them, which made our mountain loving hearts so happy. The weather was acting crazy the weekend of our sessions, but we rolled with it anyway. Kayla & Will, were up for anything and had never been to Rocky Mountain National Park before, so we took it upon ourselves to play tour guide with them. We get a crazy amount of joy from sharing this incredible place with people and viewing it, as if it were our first time too!
As we drove into the park, the snow flurries started to fall. Winter arrived early in the Rockies this year. We nearly froze to death, but I’m pretty sure the chemistry that these two have is what kept them warm. 😉 These guys, are equally playful and sweet on each other. We love that Kayla braved the cold & whipping winds IN A DRESS for the second half of our session. What a boss babe! We adored spending time with these guys and frolicking around the park, jumping from spot to spot, chatting about everything from Iceland (their upcoming honeymoon) to elk mating calls. Rocky Mountain National Park engagement sessions are our jam. We’re so thankful for couples like these guys.
