Ah, thats awesome! I was looking at this exact camera a few days ago! FATE!

Well, hands down, my favorite holiday food has to be twiced baked potatoes. they are ridiculously delicious, and we make sure to only have them on christmas with the whole family so we never get tired of them!

the recipe is simple. bake the potatoes on 400 for 30 minutes, then take them out, cut them in half, scoop out the inside and combine with butter, sour cream, and salt. fill the potato shells up with your potato-y mixture, then sprinkle cheese on top. bake on 375 for 20 more minutes, and serve immediately!

You guys are the best!

hilary - December 16, 2011 - 10:48 am

yay, i’ve been wanting an instax camera forever.. so i’m really crossing my fingers for this one : )
my favorite holiday food would have to be a dessert my mom has made for years called paradise candy. she makes it every year around the holidays. its pretty much semi-sweet chocolate chips and vanilla melted and layered over saltine crackers (sounds weird, but I promise its delicious!) the result is pretty much a chocolate toffee candy. YUM : )
here is a recipe link http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/paradise-candy-714890/

Dámaris Vázquez - December 16, 2011 - 10:54 am

My favorite Holiday food is a Dessert, i’m sure you taste it in Spain, it’s Roscón de Reyes (something like Three Wises doughtnut). And my mother’s recipe is in here http://come-y-disfruta.blogspot.com/2011/01/y-se-cierra-el-telon.html :)
(I really want this camera! :O)

Davis Ann Maddox - December 16, 2011 - 11:25 am

i LOVE cream cheese pound cake.

8 oz. cream cheese
3 sticks of butter

Cream these together (make sure they’re softened).

add 3 c. sugar
and 6 eggs, alternately
then add 3 c. of cake flour and 1 t. vanilla.

Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan and bake at 300 for 1 and 1/2 hour.

When it has cooled enough, the icing is 4 ounces of cream cheese, 1 stick of butter, 1 t. vanilla, 1 T. milk, and about 1/2 box of confectioner’s sugar.

Emily - December 16, 2011 - 11:39 am

How awesome is this giveaway?! I have been wanting that exact camera for a very long time and I can tell you I would be more than thrilled to win it! One of my favorite holiday foods is actually a desert that was my great grandmother’s recipe, passed down to my grandmother, and now passed on to me! It’s Hershey Bar Cake, and it is delicious! The recipe is simple! All you need is 1 Cup Crisco, 2 Cups of Sugar, 2 1/2 Cups of Plain All Purpose Flour, 4 Eggs, 1 Cup of Buttermilk, 1/2 tsp Soda, 1/2 tsp of Salt, 1 lq. Can of Hershey Syrup, and 3 Hershey Bars! You melt the Hershey bars and the syrup together, and let it cool! Next you add the buttermilk and eggs (one at a time) with the flour, soda, and salt! Add your mixture and melted chocolate into a baking pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees! Let it cool, and enjoy!

Barrett - December 16, 2011 - 12:44 pm

I used to have the big version of this instax! Unfortunately, some spanish ladron is enjoying it in Barcelona. So basically I deserve to win this to make up for all that lost time.

Favorite *Christmas* food… sweat potato soufflé. It’s like a desert that you can eat for dinner. I don’t cook, but I do know a good BBQ place that sells it. haha.

Jonathan - December 16, 2011 - 2:38 pm

My old granny, OG for short, makes the best strawberry pie. I would give the recipe but when I asked her what was in it all she said was a cup of sweat and a few oz. of love. You’ll just have to trust me on this one.

Kiley - December 16, 2011 - 3:58 pm

I love my mom’s Christmas Eve Italian roast over mashed potatoes. YUM.

Rachel - December 16, 2011 - 11:55 pm

My favorite food.. oh this is tough! I love all the food!! It’s gotta be a tie between sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes! I love potatoes, obviously!!!
You guys are the best!!!

Amanda Antilla - December 17, 2011 - 5:04 pm

hello! my name is amanda, and I have been wanting one of these cameras for years. I used to shoot with a polaroid, but then they stopped making the film and its too expensive to buy. Anyway, i am an aspiring photographer & graphic designer, and a senior in college, i am planning to start my own business as soon as i graduate! I would be absolutely overjoyed to be chosen to win this camera. Something i really love over the holidays is my mothers soda-cracker-candies, she makes them every year and they are scrumptious! this recipe is similar to what she does: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/soda-cracker-chocolate-candy/ but we don’t do the walnuts :)

cheers!

Anne R. - December 17, 2011 - 6:10 pm

My favorite Christmas dinner food is my mom’s sweet potato casserole – with Marshmallows and brown sugar on top! My favorite Christmas snack food is gingerbread cookies :)

Amanda Williams - December 18, 2011 - 12:38 pm

My favorite food for this year is pumpkin cheesecake! Easy to make and so yummy

katherine - December 18, 2011 - 12:38 pm

this would be an awesome camera to use both for myself as well as in my classroom – i can only imagine how much fun my students would have getting to use this for a project and seeing their photos come out instantly! great give away, y’all!

my favorite holiday recipe is a new one – empanadas! my sister claire threw these together for the first time this year just before our thanksgiving road trip to west texas, and they were amazing. they’re kind of like these: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/sweet-potato-bean-empanadas-50400000108386/ but she used black beans, red potatoes, and goat cheese. she also made some sweeter ones using plantains, cranberries, and cream cheese. they were a big hit, and we’re going to make some more later this week to bring home to dallas for christmas.

Katie - December 18, 2011 - 1:16 pm

I love making oreo balls (probably because they are so easy and SO good)! Mix cream cheese and crushed up oreos, dip in chocolate and you’re good to go!

rachel stricklin - December 18, 2011 - 1:20 pm

Favorite holiday food: Well, this isn’t technically “food” but my favorite holiday beverage is EGGNOG with nutmeg sprinkled on top! Omg, it’s so good. They only sell it right around Christmas and the first time I see it in the grocery store, I KNOW that it’s officially the holiday season. Also, it’s great mixed in with your coffee on a chilly morning. Yum.

Lindsay - Shrimp Salad Circus - December 18, 2011 - 1:30 pm

LOVE love love the Instax!!!

My favorite holiday recipe is mulled wine – great way to warm up on a frigid day!

Recipe: http://wine.about.com/od/holidayswithwine/r/mulledwines.htm

Merry Christmas! :D

Lindsey - December 18, 2011 - 2:01 pm

I absolutely LOVE a good holiday ham! (and I don’t mean your crazy relative who wants all the attention)
Love from your neighbor in TN!

Eric Zoesch - December 18, 2011 - 2:53 pm

I’ve always wanted one of these, woot woot! As for my favorite holiday food, I’m going to have to vote for my mom’s pecan pie. You can only handle about one piece at a time because it’s so rich, but it’s to die for.

Rachel - December 18, 2011 - 6:59 pm

Christmas cracker candy is my favorite! here is how to do it: melt two sticks of butter and 1cup of brown sugar in a small sauce pan, let it boil for three minutes. line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, then saltine crackers. pour the caramel over the crackers, bake at 400 for 5 minutes. pour a 12ounce bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips over the crackers when they come out of the oven, spread them as they melt. let it cool, then freeze it. by far my favorite holiday food. yay for contests!

Jenna Mae - December 18, 2011 - 7:19 pm

This would be an awesome camera to have!! it’s the modern day polaroid! Thank you for such an awesome giveaway! My favorite holiday food has to be one of two things, and both revolve around sweeeet treats. Either my grandma’s microwave fudge (so simple and DELISH!), or your good old fashion holiday frosted sugar cookies with those crunchy sugar sprinkles that turn your lips and tongue colors! My grandma’s fudge is like this: http://candy.about.com/od/fudgerecipes/r/microwavefudge.htm although I think over the years she’s added a few other ingredients. Or maybe its just all the TLC! Happy Holidays! Thanks again! :)

Sam - December 18, 2011 - 7:28 pm

Its hot here at Christmas in sunny Brisbane Australia so we like something like this

Prawn, Mango and Avocado salad
Serves 4

Ingredients
• 400g cooked tiger prawns 2 mangos, cut into 2cm cubes
• 2 avocados, cut into 2cm cubes
• 2 limes, plus lime wedges to serve
• 1/3 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
• 1 long red chilli, seeds removed, finely chopped
• 1 tbs honey
• 1 tbs avocado oil (see note) or extra virgin olive oil
• 1 butter lettuce, leaves separated
• Micro herbs (see note) (optional), to serve
Method
1. Peel, de-vein and roughly chop half the prawns. Place in a bowl with mango and avocado.
2. Grate the zest of half a lime, then juice both limes. Place the lime zest and juice in a small bowl with the coriander, chilli, honey and oil. Whisk to combine and season well. Pour over prawn mixture and toss to combine.
3. Divide lettuce among plates, fill with the salad and serve with the remaining prawns, lime and micro herbs, if using.

Or just happy with a glass of bubbles, a plate of prawns, a fruit bowl full of fragrant and deliciously drippy mangos

Sam - December 18, 2011 - 7:41 pm

And for breakfast I wait all year for
lightly toasted pannetone (italian chritsmas bread/cake) with marscapone and a compote of raspberries and blueberries but this year it may be cherries…haven’t decided

Ellie - December 18, 2011 - 7:51 pm

This such a great camera, it would be great for the holidays! I love peppermint bark during the holidays…all you have to do is melt your favorite kind of chocolate, add some peppermint extract and crushed up candy canes, spread out on parchment paper and refrigerate until it is hardened.

Janelle C - December 18, 2011 - 8:12 pm

Mmm tough one, there is so much yummy food around at this time of year. I love to eat Tim Tam Truffles almost as much as I love to give them as gifts. They are so easy, no baking required which is good in the summer heat….

Ingredients
2 x packets of Tim Tams
1 x tub of cream cheese (low fat, so I can eat more of course)
Chocolate melts (milk or dark, depending on what you prefer)
Chocolate melts – white

Method
Finely blend both packets of Tim Tams
Stir in cream cheese and mix lightly
Place mixture in fridge for 10 – 15 minutes to cool
Roll mixture into small (truffle size) balls
Melt milk or dark chocolate and dip balls into chocolate (Place onto baking paper so they won’t stick)
Melt white chocolate and drizzle over balls
Enjoy!

Audrey - December 19, 2011 - 4:48 am

Hello Wesley and Emma,

In my desparate need for yummy holiday food while living in England, I have stumbled across this amazing food blog and even better my favorite holiday food with a “lighter” and completely tasty version. We had it for Thanksgiving :)

Check out their Sweet Potato Brulee recipe here –> http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/10/mashed-sweet-potatoes-brulee.html

You won’t be sorry!

-Audrey

Katie - December 19, 2011 - 3:31 pm

Ohhh… I’ve been dreaming about the new Polaroid cameras. So many yummy recipes to choose from, but I’ll go with Oreo truffles. The recipe is simple: 1 package Oreos, I package cream cheese. Crush Oreo’s (or stick in a food processor to make it easy), then mix in cream cheese. Roll into 1 inch balls and refrigerate for about an hour. Melt white (or whatever kind you like), dip the Oreo balls and place on wax paper and ta da! Keep refrigerated. Yummy!

dana k - December 19, 2011 - 3:40 pm

Lay the block of cheese down and top it with the other ingredients. Put in oven at 350 until it bubbles! Serve with Crisped french bread slices! Delish! xo

Kara - December 19, 2011 - 8:00 pm

My favorite holiday food is Cornflake Candy! My Nana taught me how to make it. Mix 1 cup sugar and 1 cup light Karo syrup in a sauce pan and heat to a boil. When it reaches a boil take off heat and mix in 1 cup of Peanut butter. After you stir in the peanut butter, pour it over 6 cups of Cornflakes. You then mix it together and take out a big or little handful and gently roll into a ball so the cornflakes do not break. Sit on parchment paper and let cool! AMAZING! Should make about 35.

Brooke Wilson - December 19, 2011 - 10:30 pm

Favorite holiday recipe? Definitely differs every year! This year I’m experimenting with fresh arugula & spinach with homemade vinaigrette. Easy & quick…just whisk together your base (pureed pecans or walnuts or dijon mustard make good ones,) olive oil, a vinegar of your choice (I like apple cider or champagne this season) then throw in your extras… pomegranate juice, minced shallots or garlic, cranberries…

Toss with cheese, nuts, or fruit…easy, simple, unique. :)

jesse w. - December 19, 2011 - 11:56 pm

emmie & daddy warbucks!
hello my sweet friends, oh my this certainly is one fantastic givaway.- so fantastic that i just couldn’t resist attempting a shot at victory.
My absolute favorite holiday treats are Andes Mint Chocolate Brownies-They are irresistible! The recipe came about around 5 years ago when my friend & I were trying to invent the “most epic dessert ever” for Christmas. We went to the store & pretty much just picked our favorite things to combine & Andes Mint Brownies were born
( well to me, at least. I just like to pretend I invented the concept in general haha).

Anyways, here is the recipe with accompanying photos ( but just think of how much better these photos would be if they were taken with a Fujifilm Instax?? eh eh??

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.682267209299.2140952.41802870&type=1

:) )))

Alisha - December 20, 2011 - 1:34 am

Favorite holiday food has to be Christmas morning pumpkin cinnamon rolls. I usually just do a cream cheese frosting for them, but I am on this caramel kick..I just made salted caramels ( took me three attempts but finally got them) Anyways, I am going to do same recipe for pumpkin cinny rolls, but do a caramel/pecan glaze instead. Here is a link for the Cinny rolls: http://www.recipegirl.com/2009/01/02/amish-pumpkin-cinnamon-rolls-with-caramel-icing/
They are so good and I hope you try them. Oh, I also make them night before and put them in the fridge overnight, so Christmas morning I just pop em in the oven :)

Merry Christmas

Lindsey - December 20, 2011 - 8:18 am

I LOVE my mom’s homemade cinnamon rolls! And wouldove this camera to capture our holiday memories!

Michell Forgey - December 20, 2011 - 8:28 am

My favorite holiday food is peanut sitting pretties. They are a plain cookie rolled on peanuts with white icing on top. If you want the recipe I will ask my mom!

Lindsay Williams - December 20, 2011 - 9:21 am

Oh man, I can’t get enough of cookies. Mostly the really buttery kind with icing. And that’s why I gain weight every Xmas. But it’s worth it!!

Michelle Forgey - December 20, 2011 - 9:37 am

Ok, here is the recipe for my extra points, lol.

a recent album

today i’d like to showcase one of our lovely little albums called the mercer book. below is a recent design we did for kristi + aaron to use as the guestbook at their wedding. this is a great album to show off an engagement session or for a more casual “coffee table-esque” wedding album.

the mercer book captures the character of a creative spirit. with panoramic full-page prints and a fully customizable front and back cover this album provides a beautiful presentation to share your story with friends and family. each spread is designed in house and customized with a feature cover image from your session or wedding day. both the mercer and the soho book are printed on thick, durable pages that lay flat for viewing and displaying. The weight of the pages combined with goregous matte paper makes these albums unmatched in photo quality.

we offer an 8×8 mercer book., while 10×10 and 12×12 albums are available for our soho book.

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee
There is a sign at the side of Thee, merciful and mighty
God in three persons, God in three persons, blessed trinity

Holy, holy, holy, though the darkness hide Thee
Though the eye of the sinful man, Thy glory may not see
Only Thou art holy, there is none beside Thee
Perfect in power, perfect in power, in love and purity

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
All Thy works shall praise Thy name in earth and sky and sea
There is a sign at the side of Thee, there is none beside Thee
God in three persons, God in three persons
God in three persons, God in three persons, blessed trinity

our humble little tree
