this past weekend wesley and i went to the beach to celebrate our wedding anniversary. it was such a sweet weekend, much like our actual wedding weekend, but without the stress that weddings sometimes bring! we didn’t end up gifting each other with anything, but i actually liked that about our celebration. it wasn’t about presents or anything materialistic. we celebrated our love for one another and the One who loved us first. after this weekend, i think we both came away with thankful hearts. we are so very blessed to have one another.
this weekend, we started reading through the great divorce by c.s. lewis which may sound ironic, but it’s not at all about marital divorce. it’s an excellent and quick read if your looking for something that will challenge you in an unconventional way. we also brought our instax mini along for the ride and kept it by our side the entire trip. i really do love that little camera. at some point, i may scan these little pocket-sized photos, but i’ve become more and more disillusioned with our scanner lately… does any one have suggestions for a scanner that really gets the job done?
