Guys, we shot this wedding this past November and we’re finally blogging it! Needless to say, we’re just a little excited to share it. 🙂 There are too many genuine moments throughout this post, so promise me you’ll scroll all the way to the end. Looking back through this one, it’s easy to feel the emotion of the day. One of our favorite moments was during the cake cutting. The knife broke off in the cake and their faces are priceless. It’s always the unplanned/imperfect moments on a wedding day that turn out to be the best.
Before we begin going on and on about the stunning location or incredible decor, we gotta talk about Emily & Field. Emily is vivacious & the definition of fun. Field is steady and easy-going. Their admiration for each other is a truly magical thing to behold and we got to watch a lot of their love on display that day. These two both moved to Florida’s emerald coast in search of adventure and hopeful for their futures. The fact that they met and fell in love was just the thing to confirm their individual decisions to move to one of the most idyllic places on earth. All that to say, even amidst these two sweet people & their serendipitous love story, the most striking thing about them is their love for Christ. We didn’t love this wedding because we were around fun people or because it was decorated to the nines or even because the food was tasty (and it was definitely some of the best food we’ve enjoyed at a wedding), but we loved it because we were encouraged in our faith by the truth proclaimed throughout the day. It’s a beautiful thing and an immense blessing to document the beginning of a sacred covenant between God and his children. Emily & Field, thank you for sharing your faith with everyone around you. 🙂
Now, for those of you who may be planning your own wedding in Seaside, Rosemary Beach or any other charming beach towns on 30a, I’m going to do you a favor and hook you up with some of the best vendors money can buy. Book these people and we’ll be there in a heartbeat to tell your story too. 🙂 This day came together thanks to Shelby Peaden Events and Events by Nouveau. Don’t miss all of the incredible greenery, tuscan pots, and hanging lanterns set on the backdrop of mossy oak trees. And, I can’t forget about the food. Oh, the food! This may have been the most beautiful spread and presentation we’ve seen yet. These two foodie photographers were in heaven on our dinner break. 😛 High fives to KBC Catering for being awesome.
