this engagement session is near and dear to my heart for many reasons. for starters, the bride-to-be, callyn, is a friend of mine from highschool. we cheered together at good old liberty christian in denton, texas. i adore callyn. we hadn’t see each other since my freshman year of college (oh, about 7ish years ago… eeek! has it really been that long?) and i could hardly contain my excitement when she called to inquire about us shooting her wedding next year!
callyn first met jase when she was visiting a friend of her’s at auburn. jase was sent to pick callyn and her friend up from the airport. the two of them ended up hanging out a good bit that weekend and ever since that chance encounter there have been a lot of trips back and forth between oklahoma (where callyn went to school), texas, alabama and georgia (where jase calls home). they are getting married on a beautiful ranch in north texas next september and we couldn’t be happier to join them on their wedding day!
