barcelona: part uno

barcelona, oh, barcelona! how we love thee! as you might be guessing, we have fallen in love with barcelona. we’d always heard of what a fabulous city it was, but really, it’s pretty awesome! we flew up north on the occasion of our 6 month anniversary. i know, i know, 6 months is not very long in the grand scheme of things, but we’ve always celebrated our anniversaries whether it was a few months or a few years. and well, flights are cheap here, like, really cheap. basically, we’ll find any reason to celebrate! and i would encourage you to do the same! it doesn’t have to be anything extravagant… we celebrated our 2 years of dating by building a fort in my living room and watching a movie underneath our blanket creation.

while in barcelona, we did everything under the sun, or clouds i should say. we oooh-ed and ahhh-ed over all of the famous gaudi structures, climbed to the top of montjuic for some amazing city views, perused antique book markets, spent a lovely day at the beach (coming in the next post), walked until we couldn’t walk anymore and ate super yummy food all. weekend. long.
